Africa and Caribbean Initiative

The Department of Global Witness and Ministry of the African Methodist Episcopal Church believes that one of the greatest tests of our humanity, of our ability to respond to God's call to be neighbor to one another, exists in the Caribbean Islands and Africa today.

refugees and displaced people,
hunger and poverty alleviation,
clean water resource development,
ministry and medicine to HIV / AIDS victims
the Crop Hunger Walks, and,
Tools and blankets project.

As part of the Department's Ministry and Mission with Church World Service, the Africa Initiative is a BIG part of our mission in that we minister to: the AIDS 0rphans and Vulnerable Children Program is underway, and the School Safe Zones program and Eminent Persons Peacemaking Initiative are being launched.

This is a journey of partnership and hope!
